Business Intelligence Analyst

The role of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to efficiently support the consultancy team as a key research, information and administration resource and to act as the point of contact in the business between the professional services team and business support.

Key responsibilities:
CRM
  • Upload client correspondence and data completely and accurately alongside the business support team and ensure the CRM process is adhered to
  • Extract data from CRM to produce accurate and timely reports upon request for the Consultancy team and the Sector Leaders
  • Record deal data from market executed trades and loans on CRM
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda for all aspects of the process and utilisation of CRM
Finance
  • Liaise closely with the finance team to understand the accounting process and ensure that data from the accounting system is flowing into CRM correctly, ensure that pipeline data is correct and to provide up to date pipeline information to the consultancy team
Business development and Marketing
  • Assist marketing with preparing, formatting, proof reading, editing, print comms, reports, presentations, file notes to house standard
  • Assist marketing with coordinating conferences and client events, as well as budget managing and CRM tracking
  • Assist marketing with maintaining a deal database for marketing purposes and monitoring fee earners
  • Undertake research on new client, new sectors and client mapping/segmentation as required by the Sector Lead
  • Prepare background and research materials for new client meetings and pitches
Admin
  • Coordinate internal/external meetings
  • Support and help maintain the JCRA portal
  • Work with the Group Head of Compliance and Risk when required to assist with the KYC and on-boarding process for new clients
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with external support teams and consultants, to ensure that JCRA systems are operating effectively, and to help project and manage issues
Experience/competencies required:
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • A great attitude and can do approach for all tasks
  • Proactive self-starter
  • The ability to process large volumes of data
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills
  • Marketing and Business development skills/experience
  • Excellent IT technical skills, including Excel (intermediate/advanced)
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, coordination and prioritisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and committed to the tasks
  • The ability to form relationships quickly with internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant subject (finance, economics, maths, business) preferable
  • Excellent A-level grades
  • Work experience in a relevant field
  • A second language is beneficial
